Removal: Your installation will include removing whatever is on the ground now, and some landscaping can take longer to remove than others. For instance, if you just have dirt on the ground that won’t take too long, while removing concrete slabs will take a bit longer. If you’d like to have bushes and trees removed, we do that too!
Accessibility: While front and backyards are a popular installation for US Turf, so to are rooftops and unique areas that feature numerous levels and stairs and can contribute to additional installation days for your project.

Artificial turf is made of plastic, so there are a few days out of the year where it will become hot. We suggest the T-Cool product we offer; an antimicrobial solution that works by absorbing the heat and keeping the turf fresh. All you have to do is spray the turf down with a hose and it will stay cool for up to 4 days!
Synthetic turf requires very little maintenance compared to natural grass. Every turf product will have different care instructions depending on the material and type.

Yes! Our products are warrantied for 16 years. If your project is installed by US Turf we offer an additional warranty on our workmanship for 2 years from the date of your installation.
Yes! In addition to installing your synthetic grass we can install hardscape, concrete and much more. We even install sport courts!
US Turf’s synthetic fibers are UV coated, which protects our artificial grass from all of the sunshine southern California has to offer! That’s why studies have shown that synthetic turf in the San Diego area fades less than .5% yearly, which would be nearly impossible to notice over time.

When it comes to pet waste, we recommend you always allow the solid waste to dry before picking it up and disposing of it. Following up the disposal, treat the area with a liquid enzyme cleaner. Lastly, use a deodorizing infill to help keep odors at a minimum.

Our US Turf San Diego artificial turf products require very little maintenance. Synthetic grass requires no mowing, fertilizing, or watering.

Delivery is actually free for any project requiring 500sf or more of artificial turf. For smaller projects, we can deliver your materials for $85 or you’re welcome to pick up your order from our warehouse.
Usually, we can have turf delivered to you within 2 business days. You can also pick your materials from our warehouse within about two hours of placing your order!
Our turf rolls are generally 15 feet wide and can be cut to the length you need for your project. We do have select products available in 12 foot widths as well.
Depending how much turf your project needs, turf can be hefty so we recommend all turf be lifted by a team of people.
Infill options range from sands to organic products and help to not only weight your turf to the ground properly, but aides in keeping each blade standing up straight and ensures proper drainage. There are many infill options, including sand, Zeolite which we recommend to capture pet odors – Envirofill – which we recommend for spaces used by pets and kids as it has an antimicrobial technology that combats bacteria and odors, and even T-Cool, which can help cool your turf on hot days by simply hosing it down. We can help you select the infill that is right for your project!
Window burn can happen if you have windows that reflect the sun away from home and onto a portion of your turf. US Turf recommends all high efficiency windows near your turf be treated with a special film before installation of your turf.
